Our new paper, “Correlating the motion of electrons and nuclei with two-dimensional electronic-vibrational spectroscopy” is now online in the PNAS early edition: click
My paper, entitled “Correlating the motion of electrons and nuclei with two-dimensional electronic-vibrational spectroscopy” has been accepted by PNAS. It is currently in press and should appear in print soon!
I was fortunate to be selected as one of the recipients of the American Chemical Society Physical Chemistry Postdoctoral awards! I will receive the award at the San Francisco Annual ACS meeting this August, and present my work in the nano-probes for biological systems session. http://phys-acs.org/postdocs/2014.html
My talk abstract was accepted for the 7th international workshop on coherent multidimensional spectroscopy, set to take place in Eugene Oregon this July.
My abstract was accepted to talk at the Ultrafast Phenomena XIX conference this July in Japan. The paper details the ultrafast decay dynamics of beta-apo-8′-carotenal with a new multidimensional ultrafast spectroscopic technique.
Two-dimensional electronic spectroscopy experiments were used to study the electronic relaxation of the two forms of the orange carotenoid protein. This study gives us insights into the role carotenoid, 3′-hECN, plays in non-photochemical quenching of cyanobacteria.
This manuscript has just been accepted in JPCB. Check out the paper here.
