I am delighted to announce some very good news I received one month ago. I was successful in my application for the one of the prestigious Royal Society University Research Fellowships. I will take up my position on 1st October 2015 in the School of Chemistry at the University of Bristol, in the United Kingdom. My proposal seeks to investigate the role of delocalized excited states in the initial steps of DNA photo-protection, and the underlying fundamental molecular mechanisms underlying solar light harvesting in photovoltaic materials. Both aspects of my research will involveĀ using existing or developing new multidimensional optical spectroscopies.
